Join fellow Stanford Alumni and watch the Haas Center's 25th Anniversary Alumni Video documenting 10 alumni stories of social commitment and action. The video highlights Stanford alumni working in five areas: Transforming Education, Defending Rights, Improving Health, Empowering Community, and Shaping Environments. Roopal Mehta Saran ’94 (English; AM, Education) and Jason Snyder ’94 (Public Policy) who are featured in the video will be present for discussion/Q&A following the video. Roopal is currently Director of Client Services at KaBOOM! in Washington, D.C. and Jason currently serves as Chief of Staff in the US Department of Education's Office of the Deputy Secretary.

The video, produced and directed by Monica Lam ’96, was inspired by the Haas Center's 20th Anniversary Alumni Survey Project, a research effort initiated in 2004 to strengthen relationships and more accurately trace the trajectory of public service careers of Haas alumni. Monica was recently awarded a Stanford Associates Award of Merit for her volunteer leadership on this film.

Light refreshments will be available from 6:30 to 7:00. The video will be screened from 7:00 to 7:25 followed by discussion/Q&A with Roopal and Jason.

The cost to attend is FREE. Seating is limited. Questions? Contact David Gobaud ‘10 at gobaudd@stanfordalumni.org.
