TOUR OF GERTRUDE STEIN EXHIBIT WITH PROFESSOR WANDA CORN, Sunday, November 20, 3 p.m.

Enjoy a rare opportunity to tour the highly touted "Seeing Gertrude Stein:  Five Stories" exhibit at the National Portrait Gallery with the exhibit's Curator—Stanford’s own distinguished art history professor emeritus, Wanda Corn.    Professor Corn spent more than 10 years researching and creating the show that illustrates Gertrude Stein's life and pivotal role in the art world during the 20th century.  The multifaceted exhibit reflects Stein’s influence as an artist, art collector, writer and style-maker.   No cost for the event but you need to register as there is limited space.

The National Portrait Gallery is located at 8th and F Street, NW, Washington, DC.  Metro: The museum is conveniently located above the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metrorail station (Red, Yellow and Green lines).  When exiting the Metro please take the Arena exit at 7th and F Streets.
