In the summer of 1976, forty-two Fellows and assorted spouses, S.O.s, children, and pets, all accompanied by curiosity if not trepidation arrived at Stanford. The Fellows were here to begin the first Alfred P. Sloan program to culminate in an advanced business degree from the storied Stanford Graduate School of Business. The families as well as the Fellows were about to embark on a life-changing journey that continues after 38 years.
