April 14 to 23, 2022

Follow archaeologist and anthropology professor John Rick as you hike among some of Peru’s most enigmatic ruins and learn about the ancient civilizations that created them.

Trains crossing plains. Take in stunning views of the Andean plains aboard the Andean Explorer, South America’s first luxury sleeper train. Mystery buffs. Ponder the mysteries of Machu Picchu, the mystical 15th-century Inca citadel that sits nearly 8,000 feet above sea level. A visual banquet. Feast your eyes on the many colors of Peru, from the white buildings of Arequipa, made of volcanic rock, to the shimmery blue waters of Lake Titicaca, to the red roof tiles of Cusco. Toast our adventure with the classic Peruvian cocktail, a pisco sour.
