The Russian Ridge project will be a chance to learn about native plants from Open Space representatives and remove non-native thistles.  We will also enjoy a short hike in Russian Ridge Preserve.

WHERE TO MEET

Please meet us at the Vista Point Parking lot across from gate RR01 on the east side of Skyline Blvd. at 9:30 am. (near Cloud's Rest). 

WHAT TO WEAR/BRING
Please bring your own water bottles to our projects.  We will have water to fill your bottles.

To get the most out of your day with us, we recommend that volunteers wear/bring:
--lunch (Alcoholic Beverages are not allowed)
--sturdy shoes (no sandals or open-toed shoes)
--work gloves (leather or canvas), we have extras if needed
--layered clothing: long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, jacket, etc.
--MROSD will provide drinks and snacks
--day pack/fanny pack to carry your gear
--gear appropriate to that day's weather conditions (i.e. hat, sunscreen, rain gear, etc.)

Meet at Russian Ridge Open Space Preserve parking lot at the northwest corner of Skyline Boulevard (Highway 35) and Page Mill Road/Alpine Road intersection
