Spend the morning strolling Half Moon Bay's gorgeous coastal bluffs, learning about the historic Ocean Shore Railroad and the amazing creatures that inhabit this area today. We'll begin with a talk from Jo Chamberlain of the Coastside Land Trust, who will discuss the history of the railroad and its role in open space preservation. This area is the most important habitat for hawks and other raptors in San Mateo County, so wildlife biologist Gary Deghi will follow with a leisurely walk to observe these beautiful birds. Optional no-host lunch to follow at Cameron’s Pub
