Pathetic Fallacyis a farcical tragi-comedy about Julie, a hyper-sensitive Catholic school girl, whose family is glued together by lies. Julie is trying to write a terrific novel about her awful parents, but they and everybody else get in the way: her needy English teacher, her brothers--monastery dropout Troy and poor dead little Ed--not to mention Julie herself, who discovers she's attracted to girls. But w hen she uncovers her parents' secrete, she gains the courage to push through to a mostly happy ending. Following the reading, join us for a talkback with playwright Carla Tomaso and actors.
