Volunteer at Harlem Grown (Designing Your Life post-Event)

The Designing Your Life mini workshop encourages alumni to build well-lived, joyful lives. We will volunteer at an urban farming service project that helps us - and our community - do just that!  This community service project also supports Cardinal Service, a bold, university-wide initiative to elevate service as a distinctive feature of a Stanford education (Stanford's Haas Center is the hub of Cardinal Service).

What to wear: Please wear clothes that can get dirty, including pants, closed toed shoes, and sun protection.

Waivers – Harlem Grown asks that all volunteers bring a signed waiver (if applicable: Guardians must sign for all volunteers under age 18 and must accompany all volunteers under age 14.)  We will send the waiver in an email once the event is filled.

Cost: none

Lunch is not provided.  We can make suggestions or bring your own. Volunteers are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles to refill (HG will provide coolers with tap water), and ask that volunteers avoid bringing junk food to the farm.
