Please join us for a leisurely and fascinating fall stroll along one of Rhode Island's most beautiful and historic streets, which includes landmark homes, churches, and academic buildings,   We will meet our guide and join friends from the Columbia Club for this special event.  The walk (90 minutes) will be followed by a casual lunch at the Clean Plate Restaurant.  This is a wonderful opportunity to become better acquainted with friends old and new.

PLEASE SIGN UP SOON so we can get a head count.

Benefit Street was created in the mid-18th century "for the benefit of all," a colonial thoroughfare with an enviable collection of 18th and 19th century wood-frame houses. Although the street gives the appearance of a museum mile, it is actually a vital urban neighborhood enhanced by on-going preservation efforts since the 1950s.
