We are pleased to invite you and your guests to our annual Winter Reception on February 26th, 2017. Our main program features local Stanford alumna Dr. Aileen James DMA '81, who will be presenting a special afternoon of music and conversation.

Dr. James will present "A Pianist's Inspirations:  Brahms, Debussy, and Rachmaninoff,” with a selection of beautiful piano music and a discussion of how each of these composers continue to inspire pianists around the world. Selected pieces will include Rachmaninoff's two-piano “Romance,” and Debussy's “Nuages” duet performed together with special guest Ken Hardin, Artistic Director for InConcert Sierra, where Dr. James  serves as Board Member and Forum Hostess.

A festive reception will follow with wine, cheese and Stanford spirit. Please register soon, as seating will be limited to the first 40 guests.
