The selection for the April 2017 Not Your Mother's Book Club Meeting is The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead. In April, NYMBC will be meeting to discuss the highly acclaimed National Book Award Winner, #1 New York Times Bestseller, and Oprah's Book Club selection! The Underground Railroad has been described as a magnificent tour de force chronicling a young slave's adventures as she makes a desperate bid for freedom in the antebellum South.
