Stanford Law Professor Hank Greely studies the legal, ethical and social consequences of biotechnology. He chairs the steering committee of the Center for Biomedical Ethics and directs the Stanford Interdisciplinary Group on Neuroscience and Society. He is currently writing a book about a near future in which, in wealthy societies, most human offspring are conceived in vitro and subjected to genetic testing.
