Over the past few centuries, our global energy systems have shifted numerous times – from wood to coal, animals to automobiles, and candles to electric lighting. Each shift forced by different reasons-- the discovery of new energy resources, new energy conversion technologies and resource scarcity to name a few.

Today, we are on the cusp of another important shift. Join fellow alumni, parents and friends as we hear from Dr. Sally Benson, professor of energy resources engineering and director of the Global Climate and Energy Project (GCEP), as she presents a water-heavy energy plan for the 21st century based on the ground-breaking technology and policy research taking place at Stanford.
