The event will begin at 7:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time (9:00 p.m. Central Time, 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time, 2:00 a.m. on May 11 Greenwich Mean Time).

Join Fareed Zakaria, CNN's host of Fareed Zakaria GPS, for an exploration of the role of the United States. In a world of increasing turmoil, should America be acting as the global “moral police?” When is our nation responsible for stopping genocide, fighting poverty and addressing other pressing issues we face as a country “with a conscience?” And how do we balance our domestic concerns with those outside of our borders?

Zakaria’s 60 min talk is followed by a live question-and-answer period with the student audience. Q&A will last 20-30 min and we will not be taking questions from the webcast audience since this is a student-focused program.
