Join the Stanford Club of Philadelphia for an Early Fall Hike at Valley Forge National Park
The Stanford Club's early summer hike will be on October 12 in Valley Forge National Park, just northwest of Philadelphia and the site of the 1777-78 winter encampment of Washington's Continental Army.
Time: 10:00 AM - Meet-up; 10:15 AM - Hike promptly starts.
Weather: The hike will be canceled only in case of very inclement weather -- participants will be notified, and the rain date will be October 19. If light rain expected, hike will go on.
Location: Meet in the main parking lot of Valley Forge National Park, near the restroom building. The lot is down a short hill from the Visitor's Center. GPS location is 1400 North Outer Line Drive, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
Afterwards: Feel free to spend some time in the Visitor's Center to learn more about the history of the park.
