Come hear from Pamay Bassey, '93 and Chief Experience Officer of the My 52 Weeks of Worship Project, which began in 2010 when she made a personal commitment to visit a different place of worship every week for a year, whether that place reflected her own religious beliefs or not. Since then, she has visited countless sacred spaces from the South Side of Chicago to South Africa; from Brazil to Brooklyn.
Her 2018 TEDx talk, Navigating Sacred Spaces, is based on her project work and her book: My 52 Weeks of Worship: Lessons from a Global, Spiritual, Interfaith Journey.
With each faith community she visited during her My 52 Weeks of Worship Project, Pamay “soaked in the kindness of strangers” and learned life-changing lessons. Her global, spiritual, interfaith journey will inspire you to think about how you can explore your beliefs, and engage in courageous conversations with people from all walks of life.
