Proud to be a fifth generation San Franciscian, author Anne Evers Hitz has had a long interest in San Francisco history, its lores and legends. Anne will be discussing her third book on San Francisco history, focusing on the lost department stores of San Francisco including I. Magnin, Emporium, Gumps, City of Paris and Joseph Magnin. Come listen to Anne, an experienced speaker, who has entertained many historical societies with her tales and visuals illustrating San Francisco history. Her previous books include Emporium Department Store and San Francisco's Ferry Building. Books will be available for purchase.
