While at Stanford, Puri was a Stanford Graduate School of Business Ignite Fellow, 2012; a Stanford School of Medicine SPARK Translational Research Program Scholar 2009-2012; and a NSF Graduate Research Fellow, 2008-2011.

Aaron was born at Stanford Hospital and grew up in Palo Alto, returning to obtain his PhD close to home. He currently lives in the East Bench neighborhood of Salt Lake City with his wife and 2-year-old son.

The Thatcher Chemistry Building is slightly north and across the parking lot from the College of Law.
