This isn’t just another AI event. It’s an opportunity to discuss tough questions regarding a rising sector and examine AI’s role in spurring transformations across society. It’s a moment to build community and to better understand how AI entrepreneurs can take the lead the world over.

As the first online roundtable discussion of Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs of Texas, co-convened with Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs, this will be an open, audience-driven discussion that reimagines leadership in the context of AI entrepreneurship. We will examine AI’s potential to tackle the great challenges of our times, particularly in a post-pandemic world and in relation to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The perspectives of our three featured speakers with broad experience in AI entrepreneurship, investment, and policy will guide the conversation, including:

Ashutosh Saxena, Co-Founder & CEO, Capsar.AI; former Cornell Computer Science Professor

Radhika Shah, Co-President, Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs; Advisor, SDG Philanthropy Platform

Søren Juul Jørgensen, Fellow, Stanford Center for Human Rights & International Justice; former Consul General of Denmark to Silicon Valley

Moderated by Jack Loveridge, Co-Founder & Executive Director, Initiate: Digital Rights in Society and Senior Policy Adviser to the Paris Peace Forum.

How can AI-powered ventures tackle systemic challenges on a global scale and drive positive social change? In what ways can entrepreneurs improve the consumer experience and lead existing industries toward higher standards of service? How might emerging regulatory approaches help or hinder such innovation in the future?

Whether you’re new to AI or a true expert, we look forward to an friendly and thought-provoking discussion that explores these points and engages all participants.

Please bring your questions and ideas to the virtual table on Monday, November 8th at 5 p.m. (CST) / 3 p.m. (PST).
